Welcome to Gandhi's Vegetarian Restaurant, a hidden gem nestled in the bustling heart of Kuala Lumpur's Brickfields. Located at 3A/05, Ground Floor, Service Ste, Scott Sentral, this vibrant eatery offers a delightful array of vegetarian dishes that cater to both spice lovers and those seeking a more subdued flavor profile.
The ambiance is cozy and unpretentious, making it an ideal spot for both casual lunches and late-night suppers, as they stay open until 1 AM! Guests are greeted by friendly staff who are eager to help you navigate through a menu infused with Indian-inspired delights.
One of the highlights here is the Red Bean Bun and Coconut Bun, each priced at a mere MYR 3.30. The coconut bun is a particular standout, soft and fluffy, filled with rich coconut goodness that transports you to a tropical paradise with every bite. If you're in the mood for something savory, do not miss the Kacang Bun, which is deliciously soft and filled with spiced mung bean paste, perfect for snacking.
For those craving noodles, the restaurant serves an inviting selection, including Mun Yee Mee and Wantan Mee. The Mun Yee Mee, stir-fried with shrimp, chicken, and vegetables in a savory soy-based sauce, is a crowd favorite. The flavors are well-balanced, ensuring a satisfying experience. If you'd prefer a bold taste, the Curry Noodles are a must-try, with a vibrant curry broth that awakens the senses.
Vegetarian enthusiasts will appreciate the Vegetarian Mutton, marinated with aromatic spices and served with tender bell peppers. Available in three portion sizes, it accommodates both hearty appetites and more modest cravings.
Our customers rave about the variety and quality of the food, like 'Jo Eats,' who describes their experience enjoying Vadai and Murtabak as "so good." Meanwhile, 'Jasper Banana's' visit highlights the warm service and affordable prices, making it evident that Gandhi's offers more than just food; it fosters a welcoming atmosphere where patrons can feel at home.
While some dishes may have variations in preparation, such as the Kampung Fried Rice mentioned by 'Renuka D,' the consensus remains clear: Gandhi's Vegetarian Restaurant is a flavorful getaway for anyone looking to indulge in satisfying vegetarian meals without the use of onions and garlic.
In summary, whether you're a local or just passing through, Gandhi's Vegetarian Restaurant invites you to taste an authentic blend of vegetarian delights. From the cheerful service to the mouthwatering dishes, each visit promises a unique culinary adventure that respects the vegetarian tradition. So gather your friends for a meal that excites the palate, captures the heart, and keeps you coming back for more.

Good vegetarian food without onion and garlic. (No five pungent plant) Mostly Indian food, prepare your tastebud to take spicy food. Tried vadai (so good), burger, murtabak (tofu) and karipap (surprisingly there is some greens inside). All good for lunch. I saw there is good mixed vegetable rice available @ 3pm but I didn't opt for that. Their chinese food and packet nasi lemak was good as well on my previous dinner visit. Open until 1am , good place for supper!!

Don't let the reviews scare you—this place is worth a try! After reading some not-so-great reviews over the past few months, I decided to check out this eatery for myself. I’m so glad I did! We arrived at 6:30 AM and were pleasantly surprised—the tables were clean, and the staff was super welcoming. One of them even came over right away with an iPad to help us order. The roti canai is a steal at just RM 2, and our whole meal came up to only RM 13! We ended up chatting and relaxing there for over an hour before heading out. It was a really pleasant experience, and I’d definitely recommend giving this place a chance. Sometimes, you just have to see for yourself!

Coming here after so long. Tasted the Kung Fu Chow and Petai Fried rice. Rice was ok just a bit oily and noodles was not bad. Going to try after some time. Kampung fried rice was ok but oily. Satay good but the peanut gravy could be smoother in texture. Peanuts were not ground properly.
